Packing List

There are several items that you should pack for your trip. The clothes you will use during the trip should be in soft bags, not suitcases. Please note that the local flights from Nairobi to Maasai Mara have a luggage limit of 15kg per person.

  1. Loose-fitting clothing preferably khaki trousers, shorts, and light dresses for the ladies
  2. Long-sleeved clothing
  3. Short-sleeved clothing such as t-shirts
  4. Cotton socks and undergarments
  5. Jackets, hoodies, or fleece
  6. Wide-brimmed hat
  7. Swimwear
  8. Sunscreen
  9. Toiletries and other personal effects
  10. Sandals/flip flops
  11. Comfortable walking shoes
  12. Sunglasses with polarized lenses
  13. Mosquito repellant
  14. Malaria medication (please talk to your medical practitioner about the type of medication you will need)
  15. Passport and a copy of your passport in a separate bag
  16. Vaccination certificates
  17. Camera, phone, battery, and extra memory card(s)
  18. Chargers for your electronic equipment and travel adapter. Most hotels and lodges in Kenya use the three-pin plug
  19. Binoculars (if possible)
