4 Days Maasai Mara Luxury Safari

Day 1: Pick up Nairobi / Fly Maasai Mara

Our driver will pick you up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you to Wilson Airport for your local flight to Maasai Mara. The dotted acacia on the horizon welcomes you to the plains that are home to the most iconic wildlife species. As you disembark, our guide will be waiting in our custom-made open-sided safari vehicles. Your 4-day luxury safari has now begun.

Arrive at camp and check in, this will be your home away from home for the next 4 days. Overlooking the hippo pool of the river, the beautiful, classic and luxuriously spacious tent will allow you to relax and enjoy the best of Maasai Mara. Weather permitting, lunch will be enjoyed in our open restaurant or under the trees. You can enjoy the view of the hippos dipping in and out of the river as you savour our mouth-watering dishes. Thereafter, relax on your tent terrace as you await your afternoon game drive. During your game drive, you will spot the diverse wildlife species before returning to camp for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2: Full Day - Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Awake at dawn for a morning game drive in the vast Mara plains. The abundant wildlife species against the beautiful backdrop are every photographer’s dream. Enjoy an amazing sunrise on the African savannah as you capture the remarkable moments. Alternatively, you can arrange a balloon safari (optional) that will give you an early morning bird’s eye view of the Mara plains. Return to camp for breakfast followed by relaxation on your tent terrace. As you lie on the sun beds awaiting lunch, our waiter will bring you a nice cold drink or a cup of Kenyan tea or coffee if you prefer.

Your afternoon session includes a visit to the local Maasai village. Immerse yourself in the Maasai culture and live like a local for a moment. You can join in the dancing with the Maasai women or the men can try and jump like the moran. After a brief but fulfilling interaction, you can return to camp for dinner and storytelling around the campfire.

Day 3: Full Day - Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Awake for an early morning game drive or walking safari. Spot the wildlife around you and experience the beauty of the wilderness under the early morning African sky. As the ground warms up, the predators come out in numbers to search for their daily meals. You may be lucky to capture a hunt or you may find the big cats lazing around as they bask in the warm sun or under the glare of your camera. Capture some photos before returning to camp for breakfast and relaxation.

Sit back on your tent terrace or in the lounge with a good book, board games or with your favourite drink in hand. Alternatively, you can also take part in an eco-walk around the camp as you await lunch and the afternoon game drive. Today’s afternoon game drive will include a sundowner. This is one of the best ways to just pause while on safari and enjoy the beautiful fiery African sunset. This will be followed by a thrilling night game drive. Our knowledgeable guides will bring out the infrared light and you can enjoy a brief but exhilarating experience of wildlife interactions at night. Return to camp for dinner and storytelling around the fireplace.

Day 4: Departure / End of Expedition

You will awake for one more early morning game drive before returning to camp for breakfast and departure. As you depart, cherish the memories of your brief but memorable safari.
